It took a few rounds of auditions before I finally settled on Gemma as the narrator but I’m really happy with the result. I won’t lie though; it’s really odd hearing your book read by someone else. Thank you to the team at Tantor Media for bringing this beast to life. Legacy of Ghosts is currently in production, so you won’t have to wait long for that!

Writing Room Update
I suspect the vast majority of you don’t subscribe to this blog just to hear about sales. Most of you want keep up to date on the next book!
On October 9th I had the prosthetic plate and screws removed from my right hand to stop them interfering with the tendons that operate my fingers. Now, as you may have guessed from all the typing in this email, the recovery is going really well. There’s still a bit of pain, but not much more than I had before the surgery, and I’m hopeful that will continue to improve with therapy.
What this really means is that I’ve been able to get back to making new words for Empire of Shadows! Book three in the saga is now 62,000 words long and coming along nicely. 62,000 probably sounds like a lot, but it’s just over 1/3 of the way to the finish line (I think). This book is going to be a monster, at least the same length as Legacy of Ghosts but probably longer.
In the meantime, I’m reAlly excited for next week and I hope you are too! Keep an eye out for ebook promos too!
